The Honorary Consul of Palestine in the Maldives, Mr. Ragheb Khalaf, paid a courtesy call on Mayor Adam Azim today at Malé City Council Office
During the meeting, Mayor Azim shared that the City Council has decided to beautify “Palestine Walk,” located near the Maafannu Madrasa grounds, with artwork symbolizing the struggle and resilience of the Palestinian people. He noted that the decoration works will be carried out in collaboration with the Palestinian Ministry of Culture and executed by experienced artists
Mayor Azim reaffirmed that the people of Malé City have consistently stood in solidarity with the people of Palestine and their ongoing struggle for freedom and independence.
Mr. Ragheb Khalaf expressed his deep appreciation to Mayor Azim and the Malé City Council for their support and cooperation in the initiative, stating that the Palestine Walk will serve as a lasting symbol of friendship and solidarity between the people of Malé City and Palestine.
