The Male' City Council Madhaha Competition 1444 has begun today. Recordings will take place in the MCC Media Centre. A record total of 304 children will be participating in the competition, which is divided into six age categories.
Earlier in the day, the Mayor visited the Media Centre to inspect preparations.
Along with the Madhaha Competition, the annual Holy Quran Recitation Competition will also be held, as they were last year. The Holy Quran Competiton has also received a record number of participants, with 756 entries.
